![]() ![]() The only good thing about spending so much time at St Croix, I've racked up over 1 1/2 million "dollars" fishing for pike after wasting the first 2 hours of the game day trying for that Muskie.ĭISREGARD - A couple of hours after posting this I pulled in a 40.075 lb Trophy and completed the challenge. Then, magically at 7am the rain stops and the sun is out.Īny help would be appreciated. Even when the forecast for the next day shows it being sunny, I will warp to the next morning at 5am and it's pouring rain. I've changed shad colours, hook sizes, fished at times other than the recommended 5-7am, sunny, cloudy, partly cloudy, and rainy conditions - I should add, sunny mornings are few and far between. I've watched KrellicOG and KpShamino's videos multiple times and I've read every post I can find on the mission (there's not many of those) and I've only managed to catch about 6 TOTAL Muskies, the largest being a Trophy Muskie weighing in at 26.621 lbs. Let the lure sink to the bottom and retrieve with a slow lift and drop. Go to fairytale fishing and cast to the buoy on the left when facing the exit of the lake to around 40 to 43 meters. I catch unique and trophy quite consistantly with that setup. ![]() ![]() I've spent over 30 game days fishing for the 33.1 lb Muskie at St Croix to complete the Pike Hunt II Mastery to no avail. For me jighead 14g 4/0 with a 15 cm purple worm works best. ![]()
